For over 31 years, Mariposa Women and Family Center has been helping women and families in the community by providing low cost counseling and mental health assistance. Dedicated to fostering a caring environment for positive change, Mariposa assists people in learning to live emotionally healthier, happier, and more productive lives.
To do that, though, we need your help! Financial support is critical to our ability to offer excellent services and help over 500 people each month. in Mariposa's child therapy room

6-week parenting class
$1,638 sponsors a woman for Mariposa's
intensive 6 month substance abuse treatment program (weekly individual and group counseling)
$100 sponsors one woman for the
10-week domestic violence group
$60 sponsors one person who has recently lost a
loved one for six weeks of a grief support group
$100 sponsors a Mariposa client to receive
10 individual Occupational Therapy sessions
to build healthy life skills, improve self-worth,
and acquire jobs
