What is ECMT?
Mariposa Center’s ECMT program is designed to help individuals facing serious life challenges. Our team of Care Coordinators acts as your personal guides, providing total support in several key areas:
- Secure Housing: We’ll work hard to help you find safe and affordable housing options and support you through the process of securing a place to live.
- Access Essential Services: From mental health counseling and substance abuse treatment to job training and educational opportunities, we’ll connect you with the programs and services you need most.
- Overcome Barriers: We’ll advocate for you, helping you understand complex systems and access benefits so you can focus on positive progress.
- Build a Support Network: We’ll introduce you to community partners and resources, creating a strong group of people who are there to help you succeed.
ECMT Goes Beyond Case Management
We understand that real change goes beyond just filling out forms and making phone calls. Our ECMT program is about more than basic case management. We offer personalized support, taking the time to help you through the immediate crisis; we’re committed to providing the tools and resources you need to achieve long-term stability.

The Vision of A Place to Belong: Mariposa’s Community Hub
Mariposa Center is working toward a welcoming space where individuals working toward stability can gather, learn new skills, and access essential resources. We’re currently fundraising to establish a community hub in Orange County.
This hub will provide:
- A safe daytime space for individuals experiencing homelessness
- Access to computers, the internet, and resources for job searches and resume building
- Workshops and classes on essential life skills
- A supportive environment to connect with others and rebuild confidence
